Agenda For Today

This morning when I looked out my patio window this is what I saw, our cat Hunter, laying next to our fake cat. I couldn't resist and took a picture. I thought that was just too cute to pass up. I will be quilting some more on my baby heart quilt hopefully I will finish that up this week. I also need to practice my free motion quilting. I know, I'm a late bloomer in that department. I'm also trying to finish the book The Witch Of Cologne, which is a very good book. It's a historical fiction and no it's not a scary witch type book at all which is what a lot of people think when they see the title. It's about a midwife who learned a lot of what she knows from a doctor. She knows how to turn a baby while it's in the womb and she knows how to use forceps, something that was rare for a woman to know during medieval times. Anyway the people think she can do all those things because she's a witch.

Hi, I just found your blog through the quilter's site. I love the photo of your cat! I am also an animal lover, avid reader, and trying to learn quilting. I have three cats, a new sewing machine and hundreds of books.
I did a little quilting many years ago, then got busy working full-time. Now I am semi-retired and getting back to quilting. I love doing hand stitching. I do a little on the machine but finish everything by hand. I don't have a blog yet because I am somewhat of a computer novice, but I wanted to say "hi"!

Hi again. I was able to get my google account activated. I have a profile but not a blog yet. I read about your sciatica and wondered if it feels anything like what I have recently developed. I had shingles on my left leg and now my leg hurts so bad, it sounds a little like what you experienced. Did you find anything that helped?

Judy thank you so much for stopping by I hope you come again often. Now, about the pain. The only thing that helps me is heat. When it hurts I'm miserable especially when it rains or it gets cold.I know how you feel believe me.
