Quilt Is In Museum

Well I took two of my quilts to the museum on Friday. My neighbor went with me and she took two also. I am actually really missing those quilts. I have weird thoughts like, what if they get stolen, what if the place burns down, what if some kid puts bugurs on them. I know it's insane but those are my thoughts at times. I know that every visitor gets a pair of gloves as they enter just in case they want to examine the stitches of a quilt but I've never been without my quilts. I guess I need to start quilting another to keep my mind at ease. I was fighting a bad cold this pass week so didn't feel like basting anything. Then I'll be going to jury duty on the 26th and hopefully I won't get picked to stay on. That already stressing me out. I have to travel 35 miles and cross a big bridge to get to the court house. Been looking at some of Linda's eq patterns and I really like the pink and brown quilt she made up. That Linda is a busy bee. I wish I could get half as much as she does. Hope everyone has a great week.

Congratulations on having your quilts in a museum! It's natural to worry about them, but I'm sure that they will be fine.

How fun that you have the opportunity to share your quilts with others who come to the museum! Who knows what future quilter you will inspire. And jury duty... bring some hand work for while you are waiting, might as well put the time to good use!

Cheers!

Congrats on getting your star quilt done! Can you tell how far behind I am with commenting? Reading, yes but commenting, not as much as I would like.

You are welcome to use the pink and brown quilt idea, of course! Nancy sent the blocks and I just needed to find a fun way to put them. I think it is going to make a nice quilt for a young lady. I am sewing next week but only after I get all this despised binding done and the one that you are interested in will probably be at the top of the list because the settting will work for something one of the Belles might do.

I am sure that your quilts will be well taken care of in a museum. I think it is a fine tribute to your work. You will definitely have to make more to make up for the loss. I can see how you would miss them.
Hope you had a good Valentine's Day.

Esteemarlu, thanks for stopping by my place. You are welcome to use either heart I mentioned. I am sure that either can be resized--and the 4 hearts dropped back down to a single one if that is what you meant. Tell me what size you want and I can probably help you out. Drawing in EQ is a great help that way.

I used one of the little hearts on my calendar wall hangings to represent February--might be a picture in the distant past of it. Might be looking for a needle in a haystack there, LOL.

I enjoy your blog and just love your star quilt. I would like to buy the pattern, but could not find it anywhere on the internet. Could you e-mail me where you got it? I would really appreciate it. Linda P.
