Texas City Quilt Show

These pictures were taken at a quilt show my neighbor and I go to every year here in Texas at a near by city. There were about 70 quilts on display. It's always such fun to see such creativity from so many different minds. The Bible quilt below was made by my neighbor. She hand pieces and hand quilts all her quilts.

The applique on this basket quilt was stunning. Just beautiful.
My favorite quilt at the show. Reminds me of stars at night.

These were just beautiful, Esteemarlu! We're counting down to school letting out here, too. We have three more weeks. Hang in there!

Thanks for sharing the eye candy. I've missed you and wondered what you were up to. I'll help you count down until schools out and you can hang out here more.

What a treat to see some of the quilts from the show you attended. Your neighbor did a wonderful job on her Bible block sampler. Good that you two could go together to see it hanging.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Here's the information about the pink and brown scrap quilt I'm working on that you asked for. It's a list of my UFO's, you can scroll down to it, a couple of posts down.http://feelingsimplyquilty.blogspot.com/search/label/UFO%27s%20before%20I%20begin

Love the setting on that Lone Star quilt!

(BTW, no quilting on my crazy quilt.)
