My hubby's friend who use to be a draftsman gave us this table. The friend was going to give it to a quilting store in New Mexico but when hubby told him I quilted he gave it to us. The top was in bed shape it had a lot of nicks and old tape all over the place. Hubby and son sanded it and cut the legs some so I could reach it. I love the way it turned out and it has the perfect drawers for my cutting matts, rotary cutters, and rulers.

I am in envy - that is such a great table!
I'm in envy2- how great. One day I hope to have a cutting table/big board ironing table.
great to have such a large surface to work on AND storage....
wow, what a great table! Good thing your hubby was looking out for you! I have a big table, but kind of wish I had drawers. But I don't, so all my junk sits on top of the table.
That's very neat!
That's a really great table! I'd love to have someone give me something like that but wouldn't have room for it if they did. You're hubby deserves an extra hug and kiss for speaking up and letting his friend know you could use it.
Well, what a great find! Are you going to make him a quilt in trade for his table?
What a great table! I'm glad you got it instead of a store. Husbands do come in handy now and then. =)
Wow, great table. Congratulations on your new job!
Nice gift. And wonderful hubby and sons for tailoring it to your needs. I have a great cutting table made for me by my old boss and I just love it. It is 3x5' and 36" high. The top is completely covered by a cutting mat, so it's perfect. One day, maybe I'll get it cleaned off enough to take a picture of it and post on my blog! hehe
what a score!
What a nice surprise and how wonderful of your hubby and son to spiff it up for you. Nice!!
wow- great table!
Wow! What a great table, you have so much space, and the best place for all your bits and pieces. How lucky you are to have a handy family to customise it for you!
*hugs*
