Folk Star Quilt Top Finished

I finally finished the Folk Star quilt top. I took too long to finish the top. The two extra rows of stars that I added really made a difference. I am so happy to have finally finished since it was a nine year old UFO . I will start putting together the Dresden Plate quilt top. That won't take too long since all the blocks are done. I'll just have to add the sashing. ****************** Gratitudes 1. Sound of the light rain hitting the window this morning. 2. A quiet neighborhood. 3. Digital cameras. 4. Modern conveniences.

This turned out so nice. :-) I'm not much into primitive but I do like the primitive stars and will one day probably do one. And probably in this red/blue/tan combo.

Doesn't that make you happy to finish a project started several years ago!

You ladies have no idea how happy I am to have finished this. I've been doing a happy dance all day.For the quilting I will just quilt 1/2 inch around the seams of all the pieces.I always enjoy that part.
