Temple Flowers Quilt Finished

I finally have a new quilt picture to post. I finished this 54x54 inch quilt last night. I can't believe it took me so long to finish. I did hand quilt it but I took too long. I'm happy I was able to use up all the left over scraps from the Turning Twenty roe fabric quilt. Now that I think about it it's kind of weird that I first made a quilt with the scraps that I had left over from a top I haven't even basted. Talk about getting distracted. LOL! I am very happy with the results. I will patiently wait for a grand daughter to give it to. School is finally over and I can't wait for tomorrow so I can dive into my stash of fabric and quilting books. The quilting Goddess in me must have guided me into Half Price books last night because once inside I looked into their box of old cross stitch books and hit the jack pot. I found about 40 quilting magazines and each one was $1.50. I bought about ten and came home a very happy quilter.

Sometimes I can't wait to get done with a couple of quilts so I can REALLY have fun with the scraps!!! Good job!

I really like the way this turned out, with the 4 colors.

That's a dynamite quilt! I agree with Laurie Ann - the scraps are so inticing!

I absolutely love all of your quilts! You are not only a very talented quilter, but you are a wise shopper and user of scraps, too! It doesn't get any better than that! Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog...it led me to yours and I have enjoyed my visit... so very much!
